More info

The Impulse FD 350 BHL milling machine is an attachment for road construction machinery. It is used to remove asphalt pavement, prepare road foundations for patch repairs, create or remove markings, and profile slopes.

The cold milling method is used in operation. The equipment grinds the top layer of the road surface and levels the base for laying a new layer. This method allows the reuse of old asphalt material in further road construction. Therefore, domestic manufacturers use the cold method more frequently than hot milling.

Technical specifications of the Impulse FD 350 BHL road milling machine:

  • The equipment maintains the drum at a specified depth and evenly removes the asphalt surface. This helps avoid irregularities on roads and extends their service life;
  • Precise milling depth and predictable asphalt removal speed are ensured by the built-in self-leveling system included in the basic configuration, even with inaccurate milling machine setup;
  • No loader vibration and protection against scattering of asphalt chips due to the rigid, closed design of the equipment;
  • The milling drum's cutters are designed and installed to minimize vibrations on the loader. Otherwise, some of its parts may fail due to external oscillations. The milling drum features a direct drive system, commonly used in modern construction equipment models to ensure optimal performance;
  • Predictable results and fine adjustment of the equipment for specific tasks: milling, demarcation, or edge trimming, thanks to the stepless milling depth adjustment mechanism;
  • Asphalt milling right up to the curb is made possible by combining the potential of the base machine and the milling machine.
